NEWS & EVENTS

Professional Performance 3

Join us at yet another Professional Performance gig!

Three of our student bands will be playing at The Queen of Hoxton, 1 Curtain Road, on 18 March. The gig will take place from 8pm to 11pm and it’s open to all current students, family members and friends. We hope to see everyone there!

End of Term gig

We’re reaching the end of the second term at LCCM, and we like to celebrate these with our End of Term gigs – there’s no better way to show off how hard our students have been working in the past few months!

LCCM Drummers Forum

On Monday 11 March, we’ll be holding the LCCM Drummers Forum at the LCCM venue.

The panel includes renowned drummers - Steve White and Neal Wilkinson as well as three of our very own drum tutors, Rich Brook, Pete Cater and Will Taylor.

Career Workshop

On 6 March, we will offer a workshop on Effective Decision Making and Problem Solving. The relationship between decision making and problem solving is complex. The major difference is that problem solving is a method, whereas decision making is a process. Problem solving is a more analytical aspect of thinking, a fraction of the overall issue being dealt with.

Jazz Pathway Gig

On Monday 4 March, we’ll be hosting our Jazz gig at Toulouse Lautrec in south London.

Our Jazz Pathway students from all years will be playing that evening, from 8pm to 11pm. All current students, family members and friends are welcome to attend. We hope to see everyone there!

Professional Performance Gig

Our very talented third-year students will be showing off their grooves on Tuesday, 26 February at the Venue. For the first Professional Performance gig of the year, we’ll have three bands performing 70s soul, acid jazz and neo soul, showcasing their talent and artistry.
