Justin Timberlake sells his catalog to the Hipgnosis Songs
The latest big acquisition is here. Hipgnosis says it has acquired “100% of all of Timberlake’s copyright, ownership and financial interests of the Writer and Publisher’s Share of Public Performance income, and the catalog of musical compositions written by Justin Timberlake”.

The Ivors winners are announced
At the ceremony in London yesterday, the winners of this year's Ivor Novello Awards were announced. Dave was crowned Songwriter of the Year, having dropped surprise Top 10 single Titanium in 2021, Dave’s second album We’re All Alone In This Together then hit number one in the UK.
