The singer has been forced to delay her three-month Vegas residency after Covid hit the production. “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” the singer tearfully announced in an Instagram post. “We’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew … are down with Covid – they still are – and it’s been impossible to finish the show.”
The pivot back to Vegas residencies has become an interesting "touring" strategy in recent years for star artists, partly because, they don't tour and fans come for the LV experience. First it was Celine Dion in 2011, then the big EDM names, Calvin Harris and Zedd, more recently Britney Spears (under controversial circumstances) and now, Adele, once her production gets going.
