The TikTok phenomenon has won BBC Radio 1's coveted award – marking her out as one of the UK's most promising new pop stars (if we didn't know that already).

With songs that barely scrape over 2 minutes long ('capsule pop,' some are terming it) she still remains shrouded in mystery. All we know is that she comes from Bath and currently lives in London, where she's studying film, apparently. Speaking on her win, she said: "I'm honestly gassed, my dad's going to be so happy!"
