Tommy Emmerton

Guitarist

Born in South Wales, Tommy studied Jazz guitar at Trinity College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music.

He joined the European and then International casts of the Canadian show ‘Barrage’ on their world tour. Following this he was the lead guitarist on the U.K. tour of ‘The Who’s – Tommy.’

He won the ‘South Wales Young Musician of the Year’ competition and received the ‘Michael Pritchard’ award for Welsh guitarists.

Tommy was the Trinity College of Music Big Band guitarist for 2 years and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra guitarist for 5 years.

He has toured with jazz legends Eddie Henderson and Gary Bartz, performs and records regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra and has played numerous West End shows including; ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Billy Elliot’, ‘Joseph’, ‘Hairspray’, ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Rocky Horror Show, Fame and he is currently playing on ‘Jersey Boys’.
