Probably best known as one of the UK's top groove drummers, Richie has worked with Tina Turner, Simply Red, Oleta Adams, Joan Armatrading, Keziah Jones, Dido and is currently working with Joss Stone.

Highly regarded as a Reggae musician, Richie has worked with Linton Kwesi Johnson, Horace Andy, Dennis Bovell, I Roy and Earl 16.

Signed to Virgin with his act Well Red, Richie's work led him to collaborate with George Clinton, Blackbyrd McKnight, Amp Fiddler and Bernie Worell.

Less widely known, as Drumhead and now Dubversive, Richie has produced Mica Paris and remixed tracks for acts including Dreadzone, Jamiroquai and Spacemonkeyz vs Gorillaz project.
