Caspar Kedros
Producer and composer
Trained as an engineer at London’s Rollover studios, Caspar began his professional career assisting on Leftfield’s “Leftism” album. He then set up Slowly Productions with his brother Darius and they released a string of experimental dance records and formed the breakbeat group Headrillaz, who quickly became known for their rock meets dance sound and their exhilarating live shows.
As a producer Caspar has worked with Alabama 3, Ultra Nate and And Django and had musical collaborations with Nellee Hooper, Howie B, Jhelisa Anderson, Marshall Jefferson, Dianne Charlemagne, EMF and Baz. Headrillaz have also remixed Cast, Mansun, Sonar Fariq, Dust Junkies and Juno Reactor among others.
In 2001 Headrillaz were commissioned to score the hit film “The 51st State”, an experience which gave Caspar an invaluable insight into the process of writing and producing music for film. He is a co-founder of, April Media Music, who compose music for TV, film and commercials as well as creating audio for top brands, including FIFA World Cup 2006, and the ITV National Television Awards.
