Francine Luce

Born in france, Francine started her career as a singer and song writer in her native country Martinique. Settled in England since 1987 she has been on the Music International Scene from 1980. Most recently Francine has appeared regularly at the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall with her own band the Francine Luce Band. She appeared opposite Archie Shepp and performed with Lester Bowie and Louis Moholo at the Oris Jazz Festival and with Louis Moholo's quintet opposite the Art ensemble of Chicago.
Francine's unique experience and teaching method has brought her considerbale acclaim both as an artists and as a teacher. Her classes are unforgettable and the students she works with sing her praises for ever more.
