Ed Speight
Jazz guitarist, pianist and harmony master
Ed is also a professor at the Royal Academy of Music where he teaches music theory and keyboard harmony. Ed has played with a vast array of British jazz artists including John Stevens, Graham Collier, Marion Montgomery and Norma Winstone. Ed also worked extensively with Ian Dury and the Blockheads. He was a founding member of Kilburn and the High Roads and played guitar with Mike Oldfield on the QEH and BBC2 performances of Tubular Bells.
