Born in New York City, Pete Zeldman is one of the most individual drummers of his time. Highly regarded by his musical contemporaries, Zeldman has taken the concept of "independence", pioneered by Elvin Jones, to new heights. By utilising a six pedal set-up and incorporating separate sound sources around his kit, Pete can get an unheard of seven ostinatos happening simultaneously.
