Haven’t got a university place yet? No problem – you can now use UCAS Extra to apply for LCCM this year!

What is UCAS Extra?

UCAS Extra is available to anyone who has missed UCAS’ January application deadline, used up all five of their UCAS choices and not accepted a place. This could be because:

  • You are not holding any offers; or
  • You received offers, but changed your mind and decided the course wasn’t for you.

This gives you another opportunity to find a place on the desired course you’re looking for.

UCAS Extra will be available from 25 February until 30 June, so there’s plenty of time to make your choice and LCCM will be here to help you every step of the way.

How to apply through UCAS Extra

Check out the step-by-step guide below to understand the process of applying through UCAS Extra.  Still have questions? Contact us on 020 3535 1080 or at contact@lccm.org.uk for assistance.

UCAS Extra

What happens after you’ve applied through UCAS Extra?

After you apply and we have considered your application, you may receive a conditional or an unconditional offer from us. If you don’t receive an offer from us or choose to decline it, you can go on to make another UCAS Extra choice.

How many Extra choices can I make?

You can apply to one course at a time through Extra until you accept an offer or until time runs out. However, once you accept an offer, you won’t be able to apply to any more courses through Extra.

Can I change my personal statement?

You cannot apply with a different personal statement or references than the ones you have uploaded to your UCAS profile. You can contact your referees to ask them to update your references if necessary.

In addition, if you would like us to consider your application with a different personal statement, get in touch with us at contact@lccm.org.uk. Remember to include your UCAS application number in all correspondence with us – this will make sure that your revised personal statement will be matched to the correct application.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any problems, concerns or questions you may have. Our dedicated Programme Consultants will get in touch to talk about your application and guide you through the process.

Good luck!
